Thanks to all who came out to support Hannah's Socks at the Toledo Mud Hens ballgame on Father's Day, Sunday June 20!

Hannah threw out the first pitch, she and her father Vic visited the press box, and lots of Hannah's fans came out to enjoy the game.

We're thrilled and humbled to announce that our co-founder, Doris Turner, has been selected to represent Northwest Ohio for the Jefferson Awards in Washington D.C.!

Doris was selected from the group of four 2010 Northwest Ohio Jefferson Award Winners, and is one of only 55 people from regions across the nation to be invited to the ceremonies this week June 21-23.

Doris will have the privilege to meet a Senator, attend a black-tie gala at the National Building Museum, and more.

This award recognizes the combined work of all our supporters and all members of the Hannah's Socks team, so congrats not only to Doris, but also to all of you.

We'll share photos when she returns!

Let's pack the park with Hannah's Socks fans! On Sunday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m., Hannah Turner and her supporters will be honored at the Toledo Mud Hens baseball game versus the Norfolk Tides.

The fun-filled evening will include pre-game autographs with selected Mud Hen players; a Spongebob Squarepants appearance; then after the game, to celebrate Father's Day, "Kids and Dads Run the Bases;" followed by the grand finalé, a free fireworks show.

To sit with the Hannah's Socks group, call ticket agent Scott Rourke at 419-725-4539 and tell him you want to sit with your friends from Hannah's Socks. He'll take care of you!

Big thanks go out today -- yet again! -- to Elie Levy, President & CEO of Planet Sox!

On many, many occasions, Planet Sox has sent very generous donations of the adorable children's socks they distribute out of New York City. The socks feature Snoopy, Hannah Montana, Curious George and other fun characters. We were thrilled to receive another shipment of big boxes this week!
