Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

At Hannah’s Socks, we think it's important that our donors understand the huge impact even a small monetary gift can make in the lives of the people we serve. Here are some examples:

• A $5 donation allows us to buy 7 pairs of socks for someone who desperately needs them.
• A $25 donation allows us to buy 12 pairs of socks and 11 pairs of underwear for victims of domestic violence — mothers who escape with just the clothes on their backs.
• A $50 donation allows us to provide socks, pajamas and underwear to 4 homeless children.
• A $100 donation allows us to provide 4 families with warm socks, underwear, and thermals — extra comfort as the weather turns cold.

The larger your one-time donation, the more effectively we can use it, because nearly all our operating expenses are fixed costs, and we can buy articles in greater quantities (as low as 40 cents per pair of well-made socks, for instance).
