Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

The Hannah's Socks Volunteer of the Month Award is given to a person who best reflects the generous spirit of Hannah Turner by donating those most valuable of gifts — time and energy — in support of the Hannah's Socks cause.

We'd like to congratulate the winner for July 2009, Kara Weber of Toledo, Ohio.

Kara's contributions include:

• Supporting our recent summer activities including Kingston Family Fest, Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure, and White House Cherry Festival
• Helping count and sort socks for our inventory project
• Accepting a leadership role to guide the work of our Junior Board of Directors
• Successfully recruiting friends and family to join her in volunteering
