Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

The Hannah's Socks Volunteer of the Month Award is given to a person who best reflects the generous spirit of Hannah Turner by donating those most valuable of gifts — time and energy — in support of the Hannah's Socks cause.

We'd like to congratulate the winner for April 2009, Jessica Jackson of Toledo, Ohio.

Jessica's contributions include:

• Organizing the successful fundraiser at Manhattan's
• Developing a brand-new volunteer-management program
• Helping at the Downtown Toledo Library sock hand-out regularly
• Taking the lead on researching grant opportunties
• Helping develop the upcoming fundraiser at Kingston
