Warm thanks go out today to the students of Kenwood Elementary School in Bowling Green, Ohio. They contributed to a Sock Drive recently orchestrated by their student council, and they tallied more then 330 pairs of socks plus 14 hats and 36 pairs of gloves doing their part to help neighbors in need.
"This was really fun, and I was impressed with how much the Hannah's Socks story influenced the kids at school," said 5th-grader and Student Council Vice President Ben Sayer. "Everyone seemed so excited to help. I hope we have the opportunity to help Hannah and her friends again soon."
