Kind kids contribute at Kenwood Elementary

Warm thanks go out today to the students of Kenwood Elementary School in Bowling Green, Ohio. They contributed to a Sock Drive recently orchestrated by their student council, and they tallied more then 330 pairs of socks plus 14 hats and 36 pairs of gloves — doing their part to help neighbors in need.

"This was really fun, and I was impressed with how much the Hannah's Socks story influenced the kids at school," said 5th-grader and Student Council Vice President Ben Sayer. "Everyone seemed so excited to help. I hope we have the opportunity to help Hannah and her friends again soon."
