Madison Richter, age 8, overcame her natural shyness to help Hannah Turner with her mission, and she made a big difference in the community while doing so.
Recently Madison stood up in front of a large congregation at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bowling Green, Ohio, and asked them to help her meet her goal of donating 250 pairs of socks to Hannah's Socks.
Soon, over 300 pairs of socks had been collected, along with hats, gloves and underwear.
When she delivered the donations, Madison was thrilled to be able to meet and spend time with Hannah and her family.
"Madison is a sweet girl who has always loved to help others," says her mom, Tiffany Richter. "She wanted a project to work on, and Hannah's Socks was the perfect fit!"
