Massachusetts kindergartners collect socks to support Hannah's cause

Big thanks go out today to Mrs. Poulin and her kindergarten class at Norris School in Southampton, Massachusetts!

Mrs. Poulin writes:

My kindergarten class counted 124 pairs of brand new, warm socks, which were delivered to some homeless shelters in Holyoke, Massachusetts. We received letters from the shelters thanking us for the donation.

A parent wrote to me that at last her child had made the connection between their giving and the needs of others. Simply talking about it didn't get the message through. But collecting and counting out donations, as well as loading them into bags, showed the children the tremendous power they have to make a difference. I hope we will be able to do this again next year.

Hannah sends her thanks from Ohio!
