Principle Business Enterprises warms 12,000 toes

Another busy week for Hannah's Socks! Vic and I attended several events on behalf of our burgeoning non-profit organization. One of the businesses we visited, Principle Business Enterprises, is in Dunbridge, Ohio — you can see it from I-75 near the Haskins/Luckey exit. They make Pillow Paws, high quality footwear to the health care market.

Owner Chuck Stocking is a big-hearted man, with an engaging smile and firm hand shake. He's very proud of his company, and he should be. Many of his employees have been with him for a decade or more. I also enjoyed meeting my email contact, administrative assistant Judy Wilhelm. In addition, Laura Jacobs, who works in the footwear department, was instrumental in communicating our organization's needs to her company's leaders. Thank you for that Laura!

At the end of the visit, with big smiles on our faces, we left with 1200 pairs of slipper socks! The socks are made of a soft, breathable terry cloth with a slip resistant tread. They'll be perfect for those in desperate need of care and protection from the elements. Some of the socks are children's sizes, and we plan to give those to the Cocoon Shelter and to The Sparrows Nest.

My heart is bursting from the kindness of all of our supporters. Thank you to the kind people at Principle Business enterprises! Click here to view pictures of our visit, and please take time to check out www.pillowpaws.com to learn more.
