Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

Last weekend, the Turner family took a road trip to Cleveland to visit Walk Of Faith Community Center.

Walk of Faith partners with the Cleveland Food Bank and Hannah's Socks! While we were there we toured their food bank, clothing area and -- now -- a sock area. I was amazed at the organization and all that they do for the less fortunate.

We met with Director Lisa, Pastor Kevin, and many others. The highlight of our trip was sharing a meal with the homeless community. Walk of Faith feeds the homeless each Saturday. Not only do they prepare delicious and nutritious foods, but they also sit down and eat together.

I got to talk with Eric, who shared his story of being homeless, sleeping in a doorway and walking all day long. Eric has come a long way in his journey. Walk Of Faith has done a lot for him, he said. Eric is now a volunteer at Walk of Faith, giving back to help his homeless friends.

Hannah is very happy with our partnership with Cleveland and that the homeless there are getting new socks for their feet.
