Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

Last year Hannah asked if we could take socks to the homeless on Christmas morning. Vic and I called a family meeting with our 8 children and all 10 of us voted yes. We looked like Santas with our big bags of socks!

Some of the men asked if we had any thermal socks. We did, but not enough for everyone. Hannah promised the men at the shelter that next Christmas morning, she would bring everyone thermal socks.

Because of the generosity of our new volunteer Dori and others, Hannah has 90 pairs of thermal socks set aside so far.

She is so happy that she will be able to give each man a pair of thermal socks. Hannah has begun a family tradition without realizing that she has done so. We will be in Downtown Toledo at the Madison Ave. Building handing out socks on Christmas morning with many other volunteers who fix and serve breakfast and help in any way that they can.
