Hannah's Socks • warm feet, warm hearts

Today Hannah received a box of letters, photos and unique gifts from students who support her cause at the AFNORTH International Elementary School in the Netherlands. They even sent her an authentic pair of clogs!

She wrote a cute thank-you letter to Mrs. Campbell and the students; click "Read More" to see the letter as well as photos of Hannah with her goodies.

Hannah Writes: "Thank you for the goodies. I love everything. I put on my shirt and clogs right away. The flag of Holland is hanging in my bedroom. The magnets are on our refrigerator and everything else is in my room except the waffles. Mommy took pictures for my website. I am going to take the waffles to school to share with my friends and my teacher Mrs. Whitacre. She is really a nice teacher. I don't think my friends ever had food from the Netherlands before.

"Mommy and me read all of the letters that you wrote and saw the pictures of you. We had fun reading the letters and I keep reading them again and again. It makes me feel like I know you already. It was interesting to read about the country you live in. The Netherlands sounds cool. I think I would like riding my bike everywhere I go. The roundabouts are a neat idea. I liked the picture of the roundabout so I could see what you are talking about. I wonder why we don't have them here.

"I read about the Netherlands online with my computer but I liked reading about it more from your letters. I am going to get to meet your teacher when she comes to Perrysburg. If any of you travel to Ohio you can come over too. My mommy is used to a lot of kids.

"Tell your teacher thank you to for telling you about Hannah's Socks. You sent a lot of socks. Everybody was grateful for the socks. Thank you for sending the signs you made for the project. I could not believe all of the Hannah's Socks things and signs in your classroom. I hope I can see all of you someday. Thank you for all the help you have done for Hannah's Socks.
