"All Meghan Music really wanted to do was help a girl she had never met before."

What a wonderful story.

Fifth-grader Meghan, from Calvert County in Maryland, learned about Hannah's Story while reading American Girl Magazine.

And then she took action.

Meghan launched her Sock Drive in early November, and picked up her last box of donated socks today, from her father's workplace, Bayside Chevy and Toyota. They donated 153 pairs of socks.

And, she collected 91 pairs of socks from her Sunday School at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church.

And, the Lions Club gave her 20 pairs of socks.

And Girl Scout Troop #6061 gave her 21 pairs of socks.

With help from her family, friends, and school leaders at Barstow Elementary and Huntingtown Elementary, she collected 508 pairs of socks!

Tomorrow, Meghan is taking all the socks to a local homeless shelter, where they'll be distributed to families and people in need.

What can I say? Bless your heart, Meghan!
