A message from Doris
Hannah's Socks began as a dream. It was a dream that I saw through my young daughter's eyes. The compassion that I saw that day in her became my heartfelt mission. I couldn't let her down. For 2 years we quietly bought and donated socks around Toledo. She was sure that the man she observed that day now had socks to warm his feet. I don't know what ever happened to him, but Hannah remembers him every Thanksgiving. So do I.
Often I wonder why we have homelessness in our country, a country rich in so many ways. If every person reached out, what would our nation be like?
It is now my passion to reach every person that I can through Hannah's Socks. It began in the heart of a child. The dream is now a reality; please help us fulfill our mission today!
